Cancellation and Refund Policy: Specific to Full-time Courses

All requests for cancellations and refunds must be received in writing to info@eventschool.london and acknowledged by The Event School London in writing.

• Deposits are non-refundable
   
• If you cancel your course place up until one month prior to the scheduled start date, your deposit will not be refunded.  However, any other course fees paid to us will be refunded.
   
• If you fail to pay your remaining fees by the due date (one month prior to course start date), your course place is considered cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.
   
• If you cancel within one month of the scheduled start date, there is a 100% cancellation fee and no refund of fees applies.
   
•  If you fail to attend your course or withdraw after course commencement, there is a 100% cancellation fee and no refund applies.

 

For clarity, rescheduling (changing course start date) requires the cancellation of your existing course place and rebooking on an alternative course. The above cancellation policy, timeframes and fees therefore apply.

 

Refunds When Approved

• Refunds when approved are processed within 30 days.
• All refunds are made in pounds sterling (£GBP) and based on the amount paid in pounds sterling (£GBP)
• For payments originally made by card - refunds are made back on to the card used for payment.
• For payments originally made by bank transfer -  you will be asked to complete a bank refund authorisation form.
• For bank transfer payments into overseas bank accounts - the refund will be converted at the exchange rates provided by our bank on the day of the transfer. The student is responsible for the payment of any fees imposed by banks or money transfer companies.

International Students

 

Non-UK Citizens/Permanent Residents should check their eligibility to study in the UK for 3 months.

• It is your responsibility to check your eligibility to enter the UK to attend a course of 3 months duration and to obtain the necessary visa if required.
• It is your responsibility to meet any visa or visitor requirements while in the UK. We do not provide advice on immigration or visa requirements.

Please note our courses are not suitable for 'Student Visa' applicants.  We are not International Student Visa Sponsors for those wanting to study more than 6 months in the UK.

You will not be able to undertake paid or unpaid work while in the UK.

​The most likely Visa route to study for 3 months is the Standard Visitor Visa or ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation)

1. Can I Pay a Larger Deposit 

Yes, if you wish to pay a larger deposit in order to reduce your remaining fees - please contact us with your name, email, address and phone number plus the course name, start date and deposit amount you would like to pay and we can send you a unique payment link.

Please note the minumum deposit amount is £500

 

2. Can I Pay My Deposit by Bank Transfer

Yes, if you would prefer to pay your deposit by bank transfer - please contact us  with the course name, start date and your name, email address and phone number and we can issue an invoice for your deposit which you can pay by bank transfer

 

3. How Can I Pay My Remaining Fees

After we receive your deposit, we will issue an invoice for remaning fees that can be paid by card using the link in the invoice, or by bank transfer. 

 

4. Can I Pay My Remaining Fees Early 

Yes, you can pay your remaining fees early using the payment link or bank details in your 'remaining fees' invoice. 

Remaining fees must be paid a minimum one month prior to the course start date
