Nikita Thorne - How Understanding Client Habits Helps Planners Make Best Use of Directories

Nikita Thorne, Head of Strategy at Leading Wedding Industry Directory, Guides for Brides, provided an insightful session for our wedding planning class earlier this week, on how planners can make best use of online wedding directories.

The class's teacher, Siobhan Craven-Robins had asked Nikita to speak with them about the services Guides for Brides offers and how it works with suppliers, planners and venues to maximise their sales.

Nikita shared incredibly useful data and trends on how and when couples are most likely to search for wedding related information, and when they follow up with vendors. She advised the class that this information can be used by wedding planners to know when their potential clients are most likely to be online, and when they are most likely to send enquiries about wedding planning services.

Impressed by Nikita's depth of knowledge, The Event School London's Director, Maria O'Dea said:

" Nikita was so generous with sharing her knowledge and expertise with our future wedding planners. The students were very grateful to hear first hand from a wedding professional who works every day with such a wide range and type of wedding suppliers and venues."

Thank you to Nikita and the team at Guides for Brides for supporting the development of talent in the wedding industry.
