A Wealth of Industry Experience
With over 25 years of senior management experience at some of London’s most prestigious event venues, Rachel’s career is a testament to excellence in the field. She has overseen the delivery of 10,000+ events annually at etc.venues Limited and managed high-profile corporate events at ExCeL London, one of the UK’s most renowned event destinations. Her vast experience in CX strategy, CRM implementation, sales, revenue management, and service transformation makes her an invaluable mentor for our students.
A Passion for Strategy & People Development
Rachel’s journey into hospitality, events, and tourism (HET) management was preceded by an early career in finance, banking, audit, and accountancy. This strong foundation in business has given her a unique perspective on how strategic thinking, financial acumen, and operational excellence drive success in the events industry.
Her passion for HET stems from a deep-seated belief in its power to foster growth—both personal and professional. She sees every event and business interaction as an opportunity to build connections, spark innovation, and create meaningful collaborations.
