These lecturers brought not only a wealth of experience from the events and marketing industries but also a deep passion for teaching.


Their contributions have been instrumental in shaping the next generation of event leaders, and it’s time to celebrate their dedication and impact.

Many of them hold formal teaching qualifications, ensuring they bring both practical knowledge and effective educational strategies to the classroom.

Our educators bring an incredible range of real-world event experience into the classroom, providing students with insights into some of the world’s most prestigious events and projects:


  • Nick Oxborrow: Founder of Fabulation Events and an award-winning event leader, Nick specialises in creating bespoke corporate and brand experiences and his impressive international client list includes Silicon Valley giants such as Netflix, Facebook and Microsoft and international luxury brands such as Soho House, Chanel and LVMH.


  • Terrence Teixeira – A seasoned a seasoned major events consultant who has worked on the Paris Paralympics, Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, Invictus Games, Commonwealth Games, and the Cycling World Championships providing students with firsthand knowledge of large-scale sporting and major events.

  • Siobhan Craven-Robins: Recognised as the UK's first wedding planner, Siobhan has over 25 years of experience orchestrating luxury weddings for high-profile clients, including Joan Collins, Barbara Windsor, Greg Kinnear, Des O’Connor, and Ronni Ancona. Her work has been featured in publications like Hello and OK!, she has served as GMTV's resident wedding expert and she is Co-Director of the National Association of Wedding Professionals.

  • Emma Purvis – Extensive experience managing music festivals, arts & culture events including the Rock Oyster Festival, Wilderness Festival and The Secret Garden Party festivals, teaching students the intricacies of festival planning and production.

  • Dave Lewis – An event production expert for major live music events, working with iconic bands and artists such as Oasis, Pulp, Nirvana, Stereophonics, Pearl Jam, and Muse.

  • Emma Murray-Jones – A career highlight was the prestigious Royal Versailles Ball at The Palace of Versailles, a luxury event that showcases high-level event planning and execution. Emma's impressive career also working with one of London's most iconic hotels as Events Co-ordinator and Deputy Events Business Development Manager with The Ritz London.

  • Rachel Williams – For 15 years, Rachel worked in senior roles with etc.venues, a leading conference and event space provider, bringing venue management insights to our students. Rachel also worked in a senior role at ExCeL London account managing a diverse range of events including corporate learning events for Top UK Banks and Accounting Firms, graduate programmes, AGMs, product launch, themed events, receptions, executive round tables & exhibitions.

  • David Vogel – David has delivered events for global brands such as Lamborghini, Bayer Healthcare, Toyota, the Orchestra of the Americas, the Professional Kite Rider Association, and Hermes.

  • Lauren Spencer: With expertise in marketing, public relations and leadership, Lauren integrates branding and events to help students understand industry trends. Her experience includes Employer Branding Manager and Internal Comms Manager at The Ivy Collection and The Wolseley Hospitality Group and HR support for Shakespeare’s Globe. She is a dedicated mentor, assisting students in developing essential skills for success in event marketing, PR and communications.

  • Shaan Dua – Contributed to large-scale global events, including as Ceremonies Logistics Senior Officer at the FIFA World Cup Qatar and event management at festivals and cultural events such as Yonge-Dundas Square & Fan Expo HQ Informa Exhibitions

  • Carly Gibbs – Holding Global Events Marketing Manager (AJW) and Head of Guest Experience & Community (Mitie) roles plus Senior Event Manager for Comic Relief and Event Director for the Finish Village of the Brighton Marathon Weekend, Carly shares wither her classes her expertise in sports, community and mass participation events.

  • Bill Price – Bill has produced events for renowned brands including Google, Mulberry, Michelin, BBC, L'Oreal, Pretty Little Thing, Selfridges and Zurich, as well as artists such as Stormzy, Fatboy Slim, Skepta, Peggy Gou, and Mark Ronson.

  • Sharifa Wilkinson – Sharifa has held senior roles with on major international events such as the Commonwealth Games Gold Coast , Pan/ Parapan Am Games, Arafura Games and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Now a Mega Events & Event Management Teaching Professor at Florida International University, Sharifa still inspires our students as a guest lecturer and key-note speaker in our virtual classrooms.

  • Ben Parker: Founder of MICE Destination Services and former Head of Events at Unlocked, Ben has extensive experience in venue sourcing, event planning, and business innovation. He shares with students experience and insights from his entrepreneurial journey and his work with high-profile clients in the MICE industry.

  • Medina Williamson – Head of Sales & Events at The Lansdowne Club, a leading private members' club in Mayfair, providing insights into luxury events and business development. Medina has also been head of brand management and event management for exclusive organisations such as KML Events, The Connaught Hotel, The Dorchester and Le Meridien.

  • Alexandra Tarr – Specialises in luxury events and has held roles in travel and events including with RSVP, an exclusive luxury event club, Vivaah Weddings, Quintessentially Events, Global Vision International, TUI and the Cape Town Salsa Festival

  • Monia Ben Nejima: Founder of MBN Events, Monia has over a decade of international experience in event management, project management, and business development. She has significantly impacted tech startups, corporates, and policymakers, with her career spanning locations such as San Francisco, various European cities, and Tel Aviv.

  • Natalie Green: As the Senior Executive Director of Business Operations at The Black British Business Awards and TNON (The Network of Networks), Natalie has over a decade of experience in business operations and events management. She has also held senior roles at Key Position, a global events and creative agency, and has events, marketing and communications experience with organisations such as McKinsey & Company, FireEye Inc., and Gartner.

  • Amanda Rayner: A multiple award-winning event manager with 28 years in the industry, Amanda specialises in planning and delivering a broad range of events for the public sector, not-for-profit organisations, and charities. She has been instrumental in organising significant events such as the MS Life, Race in the Media Awards, Princes Youth Business International Global Summit and the  Heropreneurs Awards.

  • Maria O'Dea: Having worked both with high profile event venue start-ups such as The Millennium Dome and ExCeL London and managing educational faculties and institutes with student cohorts of over 10,000, Maria serves as the School Director. She has been instrumental in leading the institution to significant milestones, including securing a contract with "The 5 Host Boroughs" to train individuals for the London 2012 Olympics and co-winning the RSVP Luxury Events Award for Innovation. Under her leadership, the school has celebrated numerous achievements, reflecting her commitment to excellence in event management education.
