After a year working on the world's most famous sports event, The FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Sharifa is back in our virtual classrooms this term!
We are delighted to welcome back Guest Lecturer Sharifa Wilkinson to our virtual classrooms this term. Sharifa has extensive experience on major sporting events worldwide, and she will be sharing her expertise with Certificate in Sports Event Management students in Live Online Classes this February.
Sharifa has led on The Event School London's Certificate in Sports Event Management virtual courses and has also been a guest speaker on our event management and project management courses.

ABOUT SHARIFA
Sharifa is currently the Last Mile Lead at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, with Qatar's Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
Bringing an international perspective to her teaching, Sharifa has travelled all over the world, working on world class sporting events in Canada, the United States and Australia. Sharifa has worked for the Organising Committee in the Functional Areas of Venue Management and Games Operations Planning for three international multi-sport events; The 2015 Pan/ Parapan Am Games, 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 Arafura Games.
Adding to her significant major sports event management experience, Sharifa has also held roles as the Senior Venue Operations Manager at Tower Bridge (London) and as a Lecturer in Sport Management at St Mary's University, Twickenham.
