A Dream Destination Wedding in Austria, from Event School Graduate, SandraM from Stressfree Weddings

Charlotte & Oliver from London have always dreamed of going against their families’ tradition of an all-white wedding and create a colourful one instead.

To escape British weather and the English countryside they decided to host their luxury wedding with 50 guests in the Austrian Alps. Schloss Mittersill is approximately 1000 years old and a Hideaway.

When you arrive, the road is winding up a hill, leading you through the woods to this magnificent castle. We created a lot of the colour scheme around Charlotte’s dreamy hair.

The warmth of gold, orange, terracotta, yellow and red worked well, also with the Indian Summer kicking in in Austria. As an English rose by the book Charlotte stunned her now-husband and the guests alike. Look at the pictures of their first look – aren’t they just magical?

We combined Austrian services and English products to establish an international vibe. Due to current circumstances, we decided to use the garden for the ceremony, and the Wedding Breakfast was served in a bright and airy room.

Charlotte & Oliver set their hearts on one small detail at the end of the night: they wanted to enjoy a piece of their gorgeous wedding cake in the vaults of the castle lit by candlelight. Just the two of them. What an exquisite end to a day remembered forever!
