One year ago, Industry Expert James Mark escorted our class to Wimbledon to learn about the Business of Major Sporting Events.
They went behind the scenes at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, the world's most famous tennis club and home of The Championships. The class were inspired with a visit to Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum and a 90-minute Tour of the Grounds.
They were able to get up close to The Championships Trophies, and learn about the history, traditions and legends of the game. The Tour of the Grounds provided an unforgettable experience: walking through the same doors as the players, sitting in their seats in the Media Centre, and learning what it takes to grow a perfect grass tennis court.
They also were ale to ask questions about the behind the scenes managemet of the event.
